members of the upper class of the society. And now giving them
reservation makes life difficult for the poor and underprivileged students
belonging to the general category. The more deserving general category
students don't get a seat, which at the end of the day is a loss of the nation.
We have to find a solution to this problem. There can be a system of giving
reservation to only one generation of the family. If one generation is given
the opportunity to study/work in a reputed institution, then the financial
condition of that family would certainly be good enough to support the
next generation.
Reservation should be stopped at least partially if not completely. Yes I
agree that the defense personnel and the disabled should get reservation
but that should be the end of it. This is imperative for India to have a bright
future
