1

GDP growth rate

Over the past years the GDP has decreased. My client can profit of this situation because as the economy declines or the goods or services produced are less valuable, the product my client wants to produce would be cheaper to manufacture. According to HSBC economist Qu Hongbin and Julia Wang GDP the GDP will continue to decrease due to the weak domestic and external demand.

2

Inflation annual %

The annual inflation rate is 0.9% per year. Over the past three years it has been decreasing dramatically. This will benefit my client's business because he will be able to maintain a stable amount of expenses, increasing a few percent per year. Inflation rate will maintain or rise itself since it is at a very low point.

3

Unemployment rate

The unemployment rate has decreased over the past three years, however it is still very high if you consider the huge population in China. The unemployment rate will continue to decrease since it reached a very high point it must start to decrease. This will benefit my client because by having more people employed the economy grows.

4

Exports vs imports

The imports and exports have both increased in the past year. Both will continue to grow in the next year. China having a higher exports than imports can benefit my client because it will be easier to produce it at a lower rate and send it more expensive.

5

GDP per capita

The GDP per capita is $7,590 in US dollars. For the past years it has been increasing and will continue to increase because of the strong economy China has and the trend of the past years. This will benefit my client because he could starts selling locally to china and not only to export.

6

Gross Savings (% of GDP)

For the past years the gross savings of China have remained stable, therefore in the year to come they will remain as they are. Having a high percentage of gross savings can benefit my client because if he needs to borrow from China it will be an easy process to do.

7

Container port traffic

The numbers of containers in Chinese ports have increased over the past eight years, the numbers will continue to increase because of China’s location and strength. This will help my client because since the quantity of containers increased there will be a price decrease in the use of containers.

8

Personal remittances, received (current US$)

Remittances can go both ways for China it could signal that it is a poor country, because a lot of people are working outside of China to make money to later on send it to their families, but it when it comes to building a company there it could be very beneficial. Because of a lot of people would be looking for work there and it could be a cheap approach and it would also benefit the remittances and amount of workers that the company will get.

9

Rural population (% of total population)

The rural population in china has decreased by 45 % in the last eight years. This will help my client depending on the location of the company. If it's located in an urban area there will be more workers than if he builds it in the rural side of China. And more workers, means cheaper and faster production.

10

Charges for intellectual property

In china the cost of intellectual property has increased over the past 8 years from 6 billion to 22 billion. If the price keeps going up it will be more difficult to promote the company such as patents, trademarks, copyrights, industrial processes and designs including trade secrets, and franchises. If the price keeps going up it will become harder and more expensive to get a recognition or financial benefit of what your company has been making.
