The fall season has arrived bringing with it change, from the carefree summer time to the seriousness of autumn. Our school follows this climatic change, as fall is the time we return to school!
This year, we have established a Journalism class that will be responsible for covering the school community at SLAS from events and happenings at the school to student opinions and interviews. We look forward to learning about publishing and putting our skills to the test!
This fall, the Journalism class worked diligently to build their skill set as storytellers and reporters. They learned to write a lead, different article formats, note taking, interviewing, editing and even photography! Step by step we moved along together in support of one another knowing that it will take the effort of the entire group to publish something we could be proud of. Over the next pages you will see the result of our work!
