When Molly Burke was just 4 years old her world begin to grow dark. She was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, a rare retinal disease causing loss of vision. At just 5 years old she started public speaking as an ambassador for the Foundation Fighting Blindness Canada. Life for Molly wasn’t a very easy life. Going through school she had many bullies that tormented her, and suffered from depression and anxiety. It wasn’t until Molly found the courage to go against the bullies and seek help from others that she came to see the light and find hope. She has grown up to be a fabulous and encouraging person. She has been on stage at We Day in front of about 20 000 people and openly talks about her experience and her overcoming adversity. She believes that everyone has the strength any challenge that comes their way.
