Q:How did you feel?

Q:How did the person or people react?

Q’s:Did you ask the person or people “Pay it Forward”?

How did they react to the request?

If you did not the person “Pay it Forward”, how come? When I went into Winnipeg Harvest I went in a bit scared and nervous because it was my first time, but when I delivered the food and left, I left with a happy and cheerful feeling inside me knowing that i did something good.

The person that was helping didn’t seem to happy. It looked like she had a gloomy face, but the people at the desk said,”Goodbye and Thank You.” when we were leaving.

The idea of Pay it Forward is important because we can use it as a way to promote doing acts of kindness. It’s a way to show that anyone big or small, young or old, anyone can make a difference. Pay it Forward is an important campaign because it helps you help other people even if you don’t know them. Searching for a way to make other people feel happy and make yourself feel happy.

Yes I’m pretty sure my act of kindness has made a difference in someone’s or a family’s life.

Winnipeg Harvest

Winnipeg Harvest is one of our local food banks. It is a non-profit, community-based organization. They never fail to help feed people and their families. They cater at least 63 000 Manitobans a month and almost 42% of those people are children. Winnipeg Harvest has a vision, “A community no longer requires the services of a food bank”. To achieve this, they have a mission; Share food with hungry families, Facilitate training and learning opportunities for their clients, and Focus attention on hunger in our community and move towards long-term solutions. Founded in 1984, Winnipeg Harvest has opened their doors. On July 1,1985 their immediate goal was to feed the hungry people. This has been their goal and still is. Winnipeg Harvest openly expresses and talks to the public about the problem of hunger. This brings awareness to the community. Winnipeg Harvest will continue to feed the hungry for as long as the services are needed.
