Farewell Message From Mr Clyde
Now that I’ve come to the end of my time at The Community School of Auchterarder, I
thought I’d share a few thoughts and memories with you.
From the moment I set foot in our school over five years ago, I could not have been
made to feel more welcome: the staff, the children and the parents have been patient,
kind and respectful; it truly is a wonderful school. From our Auchter-selfie fundraiser
and trips to Malawi to The Ryder Cup and Star Wars Day, I will take some fabulous
memories with me.
To parents and pupils: please value to the people who work in your school, be kind to
them and encourage them - they work harder than you could possibly imagine, even in
the face of some very challenging circumstances. You need them to be at their very
best, please do what you can to keep them there.
To the staff in school: continue to do what you do - everyday. You are an incredible
bunch of people and you are truly lucky to be surrounded by other talented, enthusias-
tic and supportive colleagues.
TCSoA is a very special place - just ask anyone who has worked elsewhere or been a
pupil at another school; I will treasure my memories here. Thank you all for your
enthusiasm, kindness, patience and friendship over the years - it’s been a blast, and I
will miss it. I wish everyone all the success in the world in the years to come.
