BSO FLUTIST
“Playing the flute with the BSO is absolutely thrilling,” says
Marcia Kämper. “There’s great satisfaction in collaborating
with musicians all at the peak of their careers with the common
goal of achieving artistic excellence.” Her own road to artistic
excellence started at a young age, when she asked for piano
and violin lessons. “When I found the flute at age 10, everything
seemed to fit together. It feels very fulfilling to have found
something I love to do.” She also loves to help others tap into
their humanity through music. “There is something so magical
about music. It has the ability to heal and transform people.”
