Music . . .
. . . knows
no boundaries.
LIDDY MANSON
MEMBER, BSO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Liddy Manson is energized by the BSO’s willingness to take
risks—from hiring the first woman to conduct a major American
orchestra to expanding to a second metro area. “I’m proud to
be part of an organization that had the vision to partner to
build Strathmore,” she says. “I’m also enormously proud of the
BSO’s commitment to education and its tenacity in striving
to make classical music available and comprehensible to
everyone.” Along with the Orchestra’s ability to connect with
new audiences, she sees its constant pursuit of artistic
excellence and its desire to showcase new composers as
attributes likely to increase its stature in the future.
