Dear Parents/Guardians
I cannot believe that here we are just a few days away from the end of term.
May I thank you all for your support during my time as the Acting Headteacher at Oakbank. I feel very privileged to
have been given the role but am looking forward to going back to my position as Depute Headteacher and working
with Mrs Morrison to take the school forward.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful summer and that the sun shines wherever you are. The children and
staff have worked very hard this term and we are all looking forward to some rest and relaxation.

Staffing Changes for next session
We have a number of staff leaving us at the end of this term. They have all made a wonderful contribution to
Oakbank and I would like to wish them all well for the future:
Mrs Butchart is taking up the post of Headteacher at Bellyeoman Primary School in Dunfermline
Mrs Heggie is retiring after 15 years as a PE specialist at Oakbank
Mrs Bendoris is moving on to teach at North Muirton Primary School
Mr Fortune is moving on to teach at Crieff Primary School
Mr Park and Mr Martin, two of our janitors, have been given janitorial duties at other P&K primary schools.
We are welcoming new members of staff in August:
Mrs Morrison will be our new Headteacher.
Miss Johnstone will join us as a visiting PE specialist and take classes on Thursday and Friday
Mr Denny is returning as an Art specialist working at Oakbank Wednesday-Friday
Miss Thompson will work with a number of classes on a Tuesday and P7J on Friday morning
Miss Coorey is our new probationer and will teach P3CD Monday-Thursday
We also have 3 new pupil support assistants working at Oakbank from August; Mrs Warren on Monday, Mrs
Murdoch Tuesday and Wednesday and Mrs Moir on Thursday and Friday.
