GORA ARTS DISTRICT PROJECT
PUBLIC SCOPING MEETING
Don’t forget to join
us this coming MONDAY,
APRIL 25, 2016 AT 6:00
P.M., for our public scoping
meeting on the proposed
Agora Arts District
Downtown Project. Staff
will present an overview of
the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) process and
receive public comments and suggestions regarding
the scope and content of the EIR. The meeting will
take place in Council Chambers at City Hall, 30111
Crown Valley Parkway, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677.
The Agora Arts
District proposal
envisions a dynamic
and vibrant downtown
district on the site of the
old County Courthouse
next to City Hall. The
project will feature
specialty retail, restaurants, community-oriented
event space, integrated residential homes and
extensive walkable open space plazas and squares.
The City has prepared an Initial Study that
provides a detailed project description and evaluation
of potential environmental effects of the proposed
