CITY PARKS TO RECEIVE
NEW PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT

The City Council on Tuesday night approved
conceptual designs to replace playground equipment
at Bear Brand, Clipper Cove and Seminole Parks.
The new theme-based play equipment will
include a variety of multi-sensory elements designed
to promote physical, cognitive and social
development in children. Each playground is ADA
compliant and encourages sharing, learning and
playing together in a fun and safe environment.

At Seminole Park, a tree house
structure, with a hint of native American
culture, takes root and branches off to log
climbers, suspension bridges, a ranger station
and a host of other cool features.
Bear Brand Park Conceptual Design
Bear Brand Park’s play structure will resemble
a Wilderness Hideout complete with rock climber, log
crawl tube, nature hunt panel, a slither slide and
much more.
A nautical theme
structure complete with
pirate ship, cargo net,
treasure chest, portholes
and cannons is poised to
set sail at Clipper Cove

Construction at all three sites is
expected to begin shortly and should be
